By dissolved, I mean how it affects the pH of the water ecosystem it is dissolved in.
Thanks!

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is an acidic oxide that lows the pH of any water in which it is dissolved by forming carbonic acid, H2CO3, a diprotic acid with a pKa of 6.36.
Oxygen (O2) has no effect on pH.
